We know the idea of your identity being stolen sounds unrealistic. You probably think that stuff only happens in the movies, or to your grandparents who are “easy targets”. But, trust us when we say it’s a very common occurrence.

Identity Theft is Not a Joke

Young people experience fraud loss more often than you think. And the number one way they get to you? Online. That’s why we want to remind you to be careful and take precautions. Top loss reports come from online shopping, impostor businesses and governments, counterfeit checks, and romance scams.

We know this information might seem a bit scary. Or maybe you’re not worried at all. Regardless, we want to help show you what to do if you fall victim to identity theft.
